I've been wondering for a while - what was Bob Dylan watching? (I said "watching", not "smoking").
If you look at the Factory Girl trailer - don't you get the impression that Hayden's character tries to help Edie? If someone comes across as a jerk and responsible for Edie's downfall it's Warhol (who can't sue anymore). This might be different in the movie of course, but that's what I get from the trailer. On another note - I thought she died of an overdose? Which would not equal suicide. Many deaths by OD of addicts are actually accidents. Shouldn't Dylan know that?
So, he can't have watched the trailer. But he can't have watched the movie either, because he "demands" a screening of it. Did he read the script? Possible, but it's been around for quite a while and people like Lou Reed have commented on it ages ago already.
I wouldn't be surprised if we never hear from Dylan vs. Factory Girl again - once the movie is promoted and the new Dylan album is sold of course. But who knows, I might be very wrong.
