Enter the Jumper Comic to Film Contest!

20th Century Fox has launched a cool new contest for Jumper, the sci-fi action-thriller directed by Doug Liman (The Bourne Identity, Mr. & Mrs. Smith) and starring Hayden Christensen, Samuel L. Jackson, Rachel Bilson and Jamie Bell.

At the official website, contestants can create a video submission inspired by the comic book pages (from the "Jumper Jumpscars" comic book - OniPress.com). The winning contestant will win a trip for 2 to Los Angeles to meet Liman AND MacBook Pro with Final Cut 2 editing software!

According to this site Jumper will get a 12A rating (suitable for 12 years and older) in the UK.

New Sighting

Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen arrived back at LAX last night looking a little grumpy after spending their weekend in Aspen at the X-Games. The duo was there to smile on camera for ESPN while out promoting their movie Jumper at the snowboarding big air competition (though I hear Miss Bilson didn't look too happy to be there when it was was her turn to be on camera).

Here are some new pictures of Hayden at Rachel's house.

A guy who commented on these pictures claims that Hayden is currently staying at Rachel's place and is picked up by a limo every morning to be driven to a studio where he stays the whole day.

Genius Product' Announces 'Awake' For March

Genius Products has officially announced the DVD release of Awake (review), which stars Jessica Alba, Hayden Christensen, and Terrence Howard. This Joby Harold directed thriller will be available to own on March 4, and should retail at around $28.95.

Most people understand that MIT is not your average place. But at a special media panel held there last night some of the differences really stood out.

After all, there aren't that many other places where two renowned physicists would receive as much applause, cheers and enthusiasm as successful Hollywood director Doug Liman (who has directed major hits such as Swingers and The Bourne Identity) and major movie star Hayden Christensen (aka Anakin Skywalker aka Darth freaking Vader!). “Star Wars” heartthrob Hayden Christensen Jumped over to MIT in Cambridge last night to discuss the science behind his new sci-fi thriller “Jumper” with a panel of experts.

MIT physicists Dr. Edward Farhi and Dr. Max Tegmark joined Christensen and director Doug Liman of “The Bourne Identity” and “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” fame, to discuss the real-world knowledge and research in the branch of physics that deals with teleportation and quantum mechanics. (read more)

New Sighting

Jumper costars Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen were spotting driving to Fox studios in Los Angeles on Tuesday. On the way, Bilson stopped at a red light and multi-tasked, giving Hayden a quick forehead massage.

Casting rumor

Happy New Year girls and guys!

Now, on to some news:

You may have already heard the news about the NEUROMANCER movie. What you didn't hear was who would be starring in this ambitious adaptation of the cyberpunk classic. JoBlo.com sources have told us that Hayden Christensen will star in NEUROMANCER as Case, the former hacker at the center of the story.
